SSRS Template's report parameters are random

Anyone else ever had this issue? I'm working on updating the SSRS reports I've made to V11 in our V11 Test system, so I was starting with the latest template, and the ones that I got working are great -- except that the parameter block has nothing to do with the rest of the report. It seems like it's using a random session ID, or possibly pulling the session parameter info from Live or v10 Test while the rest of the report is coming from our V11 test system?

Anyone ever had an issue like this?

  • Seems to me like you have the report pointing to a different datasource than the current DB you are running .  In other words, is the report’s datasource pointing to TEST when you are running the report in LIVE?

  • Hey, Ryan, how would I check that?

It seems like a plausible idea, but I thought that changing which profile the Configuration Manager points to would change the database for all the reports that got deployed.
