Dearest Fellow Tessiturans--
So I'm getting ready to use this magical thing they call the "NCOA Processing" report (in version 10 ... yeah, we're still in the stone ages ...), and while I've read over the help included in Tessitura and have tried looking at a few things here on support, I think I'm missing something ... everyone keeps talking about stored procedures they've built for this purpose and I'm beginning to wonder if I need to be a SQL guru to make the magic of NCOA updating happen?
Any words of wisdom in this regard? I'd indiscriminately just play with it myself but I'm a little confused as to where the actual files to be imported/exported actually want to live ...
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can lend!

Brian,
I use the NCOA utility every 90 days and don’t have any customizations. It’s a quick and easy process. I use MBS to process/scrub my data and the utility is designed to work with their process. I just export my data, send it to MBS, within a day I have the clean data back and I import then process the returned file. No customizations, no hassle and their rate is much better that what we were previously charged by our mail house before the NCOA utility was added.

Thank you, Teresa!
I'm guessing that it shouldn't be taking all day to perform an export? I've had it running for several hours and I seem hung at 100% complete, with no file or confirmation to show for it ... For grins and giggles, I cancelled it and it seemed to hang there too. Trying again, I can get up to 100% in a few minutes, but then it just hangs there forever ...
Unless you can confirm that this is normal behavior, I'm guessing I need to enter a TASK ticket on this ...
Thanks again!
I’d go ahead and send a support ticket. My exports do usually take 30-60 min…depending on how many addresses I’m exporting. Several hours probably isn’t normal.
