Setting up and testing PAHT

I have just installed Tessitura 9.0 along with Print at Home Ticketing in my development environment, and am trying to make sure I have the basic setup correct.

I've followed the instructions very closely, both in the Tessitura 9.0 upgrade document, but also in the Print at Home Ticketing documentation (the former fails to mention registering ticketformat.dll).

I confess one thing I likely have wrong is the PDF templates -- I just randomly selected a couple from the \Templates directory to use, along with specifying our standard ticket design.  Are those templates (2011, 2014, 2018) designed to work with specific ticket designs that I can select for testing purposes?

I'm not seeing a log file being generated, nor am I getting an exception emails, but this shows up in event viewer:

EventType clr20r3, P1 eticketserverservicetest.exe, P2 8.5.0.22137, P3 49e79272, P4 eticketserverlibrary, P5 8.5.0.0, P6 49e7926e, P7 2f, P8 0, P9 system.typeinitialization, P10 NIL.

Any hints are most welcome!

  • Hi Gawain,

Those sample templates are there to give you an idea of what a template should look like, but not to use for testing.  You need to set up a PDF template for one of your ticket designs and it must be named after the ID number of your ticket design.  So if your standard ticket design ID is 1234 your PDF template for that ID should be named 1234.pdf.  On that template you need fields named after the ID numbers of the data elements on your ticket design.

Beyond that, I think you should open a help ticket for assistance.

  • Ah, yes.  Thanks for the quick response -- I should have remembered that from the Webinar.  I'll have to wait on someone to make me a template before testing further, I suppose.
