Visual Studio 2010

Has anyone upgraded from VS 2008 to VS 2010? I'm finding that I cannot convert the project files. I've done some online reading and it seems Microsoft did not include backward compatibility (go figure). Is it possible to create a new project file and import the reports? Has anyone else dealt with this?

So Ryan, I shouldn’t use VS 2010 at this point? If I’m creating new reports?

SSRS 2008 R2 projects cannot be migrated to Visual Studio 2010 (yet).  They require the BIDS/Visual Studio 2008 shell that installs with the SQL Server 2008 R2 management tools.

For SQL Server 2012, VS 2010 will be supported.  You can do a search for a few posts on MSDN forums regarding this for more information.
