InfoMaker Versions

The version of Infomaker must correspond to the version of PowerBuilder (what Tessitura is built upon), which currently is 10.5.1 (Build 6021).  Previous or later versions of Infomaker are not compatible.

If you are looking to move out of Infomaker for your Acknowledgement Letter needs, a lot of licensees use Microsoft Word to create Mail Merge templates, giving their fundraising department far more control over the output.  It also can take a small load of an overbooked IT department!

Is version 10.5 of InfoMaker what folks are using?  What about 11.5?  Any advantages?

I hate creating acknowledgement letters with fields in 10.5.  The text wrapping is awful.

It is recommended that you upgrade to 10.5.1, which is available for download on the Sybase website at no cost if you have an existing 10.5 license.  We have not seen any inconsistencies, but it does include some bug fixes which may or may not affect your environment, and it keeps the version consistent with Tessitura’s build.
