Currently we are using Infomaker 10.5 with Tessitura 10.1. I am in the process of building a new tessitura server and I have installed infomaker 12.1. Is there any issue of running 12.1 with Tessitura 10.1?

  • Hi Jeff - I'm pretty sure you have to keep your pbl in 10.5 in order to work with Tessitura 10.1. When I was migrating I made a copy of my current pbl and migrated that one to IM 12 and pointed my v11 Tessitura to that for testing purposes.

Infomaker v12.1 will not work with Tessitura v10.x.  The version of Infomaker that works with Tessitura is dependent upon the version of Powerbuilder that Tessitura is compiled in.  As Tessitura v10 is compiled in Powerbuilder 10.5, the corresponding version of Infomaker will be required for Tessitura v10.  Infomaker v12.1 is required for Tessitura v11.  You can install Infomaker v10.5 and v12.1 side by side on the same machine.

Awesome! Thanks Bob for sharing that. Hopefully that will make the transition easier.
