Our Finance dept uses Solomon and wants a link which allows for a daily upload of Tessi batches to the General Ledger in Solomon. Has anyone done this or something similar?

We have procedure that is not 100%, it requires some manual intervention from our accountants.
Basically we created a Tessitura report that takes as parameters the Tessitura posting #, the BU and Solomon’s journal entry #. When ran, it creates a text file on a shared folder, with the journal entry # as part of its name. Then we run a macro that imports the file into a Solomon journal entry, where the accountant can review it before posting it. Our knowledge of Solomon is quite limited, so the macro was created by the company that provides us with Solomon’s support. They also gave us the format requirements for the file we are exporting from Tessitura.
