Acknowledgements not queued

Hi, I am trying to set up Acknowledgements but it is not picking up some constituents in the list even though the dates are within range. I looked at the contribution/acknowledgements screen in their records and see they do not have an Acknowledgement queued. I have read through the documentation and can't find anything about how to get it into the queue other than that it should happen automatically when you post the contribution... any ideas what I am missing?

In the references table my parameters are all set to 'All' at the moment so nothing there is limiting it.

    Hi Katie,

    For acknowledgments to be automatically queued for a contribution, you must have some of the transaction type boxes checked for the corresponding acknowledgement rules.  If you only have a campaign selected, the acknowledgment must be manually selected for contributions.  For details see the Acknowledgment Rules help topic.

    It sounds like the problem is at the time the gift is  posted – you state there is no acknowledgement in the record so there is nothing to pick up.   You should test the gift posting and determine why the acknowledgment is not dropping automatically.  You may need to adjust the set up in the Ack table.
