A user got a “unable to save report data” error when trying to save a report to Excel. I’m used to seeing this error when trying to save to PDF and the computer not having a PDF driver, but what would cause it for Excel? Office 2007 is installed on the user’s PC.

Jeanne,
Were you able to find a solve to this issue? I'm seeing the same error on some users in Office 2010 and 2013.
Thanks
Hi guys -
This might not be the issue, but there is a known problem when saving to excel files over 65536 rows. This is actually an Excel hard limit, not something Tessitura has any control over sadly.
The good news is that in v12 Tessi is now saving to Excel 2007+ format, so that won't be a problem!
Again, this might not be your issue, but something to check.
HTH,
Heather
Another recommendation is to save the format into CSV or tab-delimited which has no limit and can be opened directly into Excel (and then saved as *.XLSX if you wish).
