Outlook and Tess

Hello Tessiturians!

Once upon a  time Bill Gates created this marvellous device called Microsoft Office Outlook.

Would love to know if there is an organisation out there who are 'syncing' it with Tess and if so did it take a massive interface to do so or did you find it a fairly simple process?

We flagged this with our IT department ages ago and now we are wanting to look further into it, in particular for CSI's when they are created to populate a message into the 'assigned' recipient’s inbox as well as the tickler screen.

Feedback would be much appreciated.

Over and out!

  • Hi Ranie

There was a presentation done on this very thing at the conference last year as part of Tessitura Magic. The Sydney Symphony integrated Outlook with Tessitura to populate their Contacts in Outlook and to create CSI’s in Tessitura from emails sent and received.

The company who did the integration is called Associé and the contact was Jose Santa Maria. I think Associé were still doing updates/improvements back then so the integration may have gone further than this by now. So if anyone from the Sydney Symphony can add to this post that would be great!

    Cheers

    Sandra

  • Hey Sandra,

That info is great and Yes Syd Symph - any feedback?

Would love to know how it went and if you found the intergration useful?

    Cheers
