Ticketing for entitled members

Hi,

We have a membership group that is entitled to unlimited free admissions to our museum.  What happens now is they must stop at the box office, show their membership card and receive a ticket for admission.   Often times, there is a big line and waiting really dilutes their benefit.  What our ticket office would love is if their admission card contained a bar code which could be scanned and update that days admission event.

Do anyone have a creative way of dealing with something like this?  Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated and considered.

Thanks so much!

    HI Jeri:
We have a Medallion Society Concierge available by phone and a dedicated Medallion Society window during show calls so the lines are minimal for these important donors.  Though there is some cost associated with these services, the folks who staff these areas also help with other ongoing jobs.  It helps to keep the cost down while keeping the level of service high.

Wishing you the best with your desire to help people.

    Kindly,

    Mark Sackett
