SQL connection error

Hello I ran an update script that reset securecheck and the master database key.  Now I get the following error:

A system error has occurred Please contact your system administrator and provide the following information:

Windowmenu: F_get_nextid

Object: F_get_nextid

Objectevent: F_get_nextid

Line: 10

Error Code 20

Error Text: Database command not successfully prepared at line 10 in function f_get_nextid of object f_get_nextid.

When I get that problem, I run the relogin script and that seems to fix the problem. Let me know if you need that.

We have refreshed our virtual instance of our test db.  When we attempt to launch the Tessitura client we get the following error:

SQLSTATE=42000

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server

Cannot open database "Impressario" requested by the login.  The Login failed. 

All of our .ini files are valid and I reran the securecheck sql script.  Is this a master db access issue?
