Changing Seat Status

We have a situation where a seat was marked as attended but the performance isn't until Sunday.  What is the best way in the back end to change the status of the ticket so it will scan Sunday afternoon?  I've looked around in the tables and it looks like I might need to change it in more than one place, so I'm nervous about doing it.  Any suggestions, or is there a way in the front end to do it without changing the ticket number?
