Hello All,
We just changed (1/16/12) our entire infrastructure by installing new switches/vlans, changing evey ip address, etc. To improve our security we now have our sql server on one vlan, our transcend on another, and all other servers (including our web api) on another. After a few hiccups (cough, cough) we've been back in business. This week however, we had a couple of big on sales and have had issues with Transcend. Socket bind errors, inside wait loops - items that are fixed by restarting the Tessitura CC Server service. We're just wondering if having the servers on separate vlans like this could be what is tying up the Transcend/Tessitura connection, although it seems like for PCI this is the only way to go.
Any input appreciated - also if you have a way of preventing the binding issues - thanks.
Sheila
