We at Birmingham Hippodrome have been looking at ways in which we can sell extras over the web, but would like to avoid any custom coding or amendments to the website.
The main issue which we are unable to overcome is that we would like to assign a second ticket for the extra (for example a programme voucher which can be exchanged upon arrival). We have the ability to charge for the extra through a second price map assigned to one of the price types (so we can deploy Standard + Programme online to charge for the extra) but aren’t able to overcome the issue of printing a second ticket.
We would be really interested to hear from anyone who has done any similar work or has found a way to print 2 tickets when only 1 ticket has been purchased.
