E-Ticket Server Setup Error (Win 2008)

We’re installing new Win 2008 Servers and going through the initial configs.  In setting up the gateway server PAHT ticket services, I’m getting the attached error when trying to register ticketformat.dll.  I’ve tried running regsvr32 from windows\syswow64 directory and get the same results.  Anyone have any ideas?

  • Sorry, forgot about the attachment rule on these boards.  The error during the installation of the services is:

The module C:\Program Files (x86)\Tessitura\Tessitura ETicket Server – Test\ticketformal.dll failed to register.  HRESULT -2147024770.  Contact your support personnel.

And, if I continue through that and try to register with regsvr32, I get the following:

The module “C:\Program Files (x86)\Tessitura\Tessitura ETicket Server – Test\ticketformal.dll” failed to load.  Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary library or dependent .dll files.  The specified module could not be found.

Hi David - I'm not seeing an attachment or an error. I assume you are running 2K8 x64? (as am I so I don't think that is the problem)

Thanks for your suggestions.  I did try both these and neither worked.  So I uninstalled the service and reinstalled.  I receive the attached error before the installation completes.  The same thing happened the first time and clicked ‘continue.’  Not sure what I need to do to get this going.

The easiest way for me, is to open RUN command and type in regsvr32 and then drag the the dll file I am trying to register into the RUN  command box, and it drops the path in there for you.

it works for me on W2K8 by using the command prompt and navigating to the location of the of ticketformat.dll file and running regsvr32 there.

    So for example

    c:\program files (x86)\tessitura e-ticketserver - live\

    regsvr32 ticketformat.dll
