I can't believe this is the first time I've noticed this, but apparently today was the first time I tried to copy some text out of a report. I did notice that I could copy text out of an SSRS report using ctl+c (no right click menu appears), but in InfoMaker I'm not even able to highlight text. I couldn't find (in my limited poking around) an example of an IM report where I could do that, but I'm still hoping that it might be possible.
Anyone know if it can be done?
Were you trying to copy the entire textbox itself or just the text from within it? If you're on the textbox and highlight the text from within the properties window, I'm pretty sure you can ctl-c. I'm almost positive I have. But if you're just on the report, it'd limit you to selecting and copying the objects on the report, not the text they display. I think.
Actually, should have clarified: I'm not in IM now, but in Tess having run an IM report. Looking at the report on the screen, I'd like to copy a bit of text out of it.
