Are there any implications to changing the name of a particular fund on the Fund tab of the References section? That's really just for humans, right? So that if you reference some fund (i.e. a stored procedure, report, etc) somewhere else it's actually being called by that fund's ID number, right?
Just checking. Thanks, Tessiturians.
It should be fine to change the descriptions, as far as I know.
Matt,
All standard reports pull based on fund_no but I guess it would be possible to have some custom reports that pull by fund name.
I discovered an old custom report the other day that pulled on campaign name rather than campaign_no. That kind of sucked.

One place that would still reference the old Fund description would be pledge bills on reprints. The Pledge Billing utility stores the fund no and the description in T_PLEDGE_BILL2. Any new pledge bill runs would grab the changed fund description.
