I am looking for classes (online or in the Chicagoland) to help me polish up my html skills for a new position beginning next year. I have the basics, but am looking for help with troubleshooting and best practices for email and website to insure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility. Does anyone have a suggestion of a particular organization I should check out for this kind of professional development?

I've done a class or two with Global Knowledge, though mine have been more System Administrator oriented. The instructors have been very good, and the materials were useful down the line. The local classes were out in Schaumburg.
They have a *lot* of classes, so you might be able to find one that will work for you.
