Report data not showing when run within Tess

Hi all,

I have successfully imported a report I found under the Shared Reports section on TASK and everything appears to be working except when I run the report in Tessitura under Report > Utilities it comes up completely blank - with no headings/report name and no data. When I open it in Infomaker, the report output is fine. Also when the procedure is run in SQL it returns data, however the return value is always ‘0’. This is the same for many other reports that do work, so I'm thinking that's not the problem?

I have also added the imp users to the local procedure under > properties > permissions etc and given them rights to execute. Not sure what I’m missing…

Thanks heaps for any suggestions!

  • Once you get to using multiple libraries, ensure there are no duplicate entries, as the first one that is found by the application takes precedence.  This quite often mixes up people who spend hours editing something and wondering why it doesn’t show up when they try it in the client.

Thanks Dale. I gave this a go and I get all the headings now! But still no data - for a perf that I know has it. I copied the .pbl to a different location to see if that would work, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I connet to Infomaker via remote desktop. Some libraries seem to be on its C:\ while others are on the T:\. I think I'm a little over my head and will ask out IT Director when he returns next week, unless of course you have any other ideas!

Thanks again for you help. I have headings!!

    Natasha,

You can list multiple entries in this field, just separate with a comma.
