v11 and Transaction Rights Within a Household

Hi everyone,

So we are doing our migration planning and some important questions have come up that I am sure are shared by other orgs so I was hoping to hear how others are dealing with it.  We have many subscribers who "share" their sub with say another couple and split the cost.  The sub goes on one person's account and we associate the two accounts with a SNR (Subscriber not of record) association so they can call in and exchange tix if necessary.  Well I guess our people didn't pay attention to the const/associate N1/N2 indicators so they are all set to const N1 and assoc N2.  Assuming both the subscriber and the SNR account both had N2 data they would become a household and with the default behavior the sub would live on the original subscriber's household account but an association to the SNR account's A1 individual.  That doesn't really work because we want the A2 on the SNR account to have exchange privileges too without having to snoop around to the other individuals in the household to see that A1 has a SNR.  So there is that "Force Both" option which is great and that would link the two resulting households with associations but that is a problem because then we have to assume that everyone in the SNR household can transact on the original subscription.  Not good in the case of unruly kids!  So I had two thoughts:

1) For each existing SNR association (that will result in a household on the SNR side) change it to const N1/N2 to "Both" and leave the assoc N1/N2 at "Name 1".  Then script a matching association to the same person with const N1/N2 to "Both" and assoc N1/N2 at "Name 2".  That way we could have individual affiliations from the subscriber household to both the A1 and A2 individuals on the SNR account.  Then we would be able to add people to the SNR account and choose whether or not to SNR them to the sub account.

2)Use the "force both" and have it create a SNR association between the two households.  Then script affiliations to both the A1 and A2 accounts on the SNR household with a type of "can transact" or something like that.

It makes sense in my head but who knows if all that info is going to come across in this post so I hope someone can follow and tell me how they are dealing with this problem.

Thanks!
