SSRS prompting to login via tessi

Hi:

We recently cut over our live server to a new Windows 2008 R2 Server with SQL Server 2008 R2 also.  Most everything went well, however, now when I try to connect to an SSRS report using Tessitura I am prompted to login.  I can open the reports in internet explorer on the server and from our terminal servers without any issues.  I checked our kerberos authentication (terminal servers) and the local intranet site in security and everything is OK.  I know that it is something simple that I am missing, but I cannot think of what it is.  This was all working prior to restoring the live db and renaming the server and changing the IP address.  Also, the report server is connecting to the correct server in configuration.

FYI:  I also learned that parameters are not necessarily updated when redeploying an SSRS report, you have to delete the report and redeploy for the change to appear.  (my contribution to the network)

  • Thanks Doug.  I’m forwarding on to ACT Theatre as that’s where I was having the issue.

We experienced the UAC security prompts problem when printing an SSRS report on SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM BUild 1600 after applying a Hot Fix patch to bring it to Build 1617.0.

We were able to make the problem go away after patching to R2 SP1 Build 2500.

Just found out we had this problem (apparently nobody had scheduled any SSRS reports for months!), and Nick's solution worked perfectly.

    Thanks
