Hello,
This is probably a simple question, but I can't seem to find the answer. I want to increase the amount of time a Tessitura User can be idle before they are kicked out of the system and have to re-login again. Does anyone know where that time is controlled?
Thanks so much!
Louisa
The APPLICATION_TIMEOUT setting in the T_DEFAULTS table controls it. Increasing the allowed idle time can affect your PCI compliance, though, so I would review those requirements before making a change. Here are the details for the setting from the documentation:
APPLICATION_TIMEOUT – The number of seconds of no activity (keystrokes, mouse clicks or mouse movement) before a warning message will appear indicating that the application will automatically close. For PCI compliance this must be set to 900 (15 minutes) or the Windows screen must be set to lock if the terminal is idle for 15 minutes. This setting can be organization specific.

Thanks Kevin, this is exactly the info I need! Much appreciated.
This may sound obvious but you might want to increase the value against APPLICATION_TIMEOUT_WARNING by the same number of seconds........I just found that out the hard way
