alternate id

The alternate id attributes are used as a searchable alternate customer numbers or id numbers for the constituent record.  These could be from legacy systems or from outside systems used for order imports.  When setup in attributes with the search checkbox checked these attributes are evaluated as part of the constituent search when searching by customer number.  They work in a similar way to the Merged ID attribute.
