SSRS and Security

Any windows user that will be accessing the SSRS server must have a role associated on the reportserver.  If you go to the report manager (http://server/Reports most likely) as an administrator, you should see a Properties tab for nearly every folder, report, object, data source, etc on the server.  The security is hierarchal just like an active directory environment.  From the home page of the report manager, add your organizations’ user groups to new Role assignments.  So if your development group is called “Development”, from the Properties page, click New Role Assignment, and associate them to the appropriate role which will be used to assign rights on all reports when they access the Report Server.  Most likely, they can use the role of Browser which gives them access to all reports but keeps them from editing reports or adjusting things like data sources.

It seems as though the only way you can run a SSRS report on our system is to be a part of the domain admin group.. our Systems Administrator is out of town till the end of the month so I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance. I didn't realize it since I'm in the group... we get an the permissions granted to domain\user are insufficient for performing this operation..rsaccess denied message.

They have access to the folder(s), the intranet site has been added to the Internet Properties, etc. 

Help is appreciated, I'm creating reports that no one can access...
