C_ tables?

I'm doing some low level prep for v10.1 and v11 and am wondering if the c_* tables are still used for anything in impresario? Are they old tables from a previous life and can I safely ignore any differences between our versions of them and a standard installation, or are they used during some computational steps?

eg C_ADDRESS, C_CUSTOMER etc.

Thanks

Christine

  • Those are the conversion tables. As far as I know, other than when you're doing a conversion-style import they're not used or referenced in any way.

  • These tables can be safely ignored if you have no plans to use them in a conversion process.  We do maintain these between version releases to maintain compatibility with current DB structure, but they are not used outside of initial data conversion.
