list of constituents suppressed from a segment in an extraction

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to create a list in List Manager of the constituents suppressed from a segment in an extraction?

I've got an extraction with two segments - Segment 001 has 239 Available and 239 Selected.  Segment 002 has 511 available and 452 selected.  The Suppression Report shows 59 constituents suppressed from Segment 002 because they also qualify for Segment 001.

I have a team member who wants a list of theses 59 constituents.  Is there a way to easily identify them, ie. Save to List?  I would like that :)

Or do I need to refine the logic of my segments to isolate the 59?

Thanks,

Duane

    Thanks Kevin,

With a little more thought around this, we did actually come up with the numbers and isolation that we needed.

There isn’t a direct way to do this from your current extraction set, but it’s pretty easy to accomplish in a few extra steps.

Create a list with the criteria from Segment 1 and generate counts (or you could make this list by saving the contents of your suppression segment to a list).  Create a second list with the criteria from Segment 2 and generate counts (you cannot create this list by saving the contents of segment 2 to a list).  Create a third list, add the List criterion once and select the first list, and add the List criterion a second time and select the second list.  When you generate list 3 you should get the 59 people that qualify for both segments.
