Hi,
In concert with our new web development, it has become necessary to rethink the way in which we issue both complimentary and chargeable Vouchers (for Champagne, Programmes etc.). We currently set these up as general admission performances, but this may not be possible in the future due to restrictions imposed by the web solution being proposed.
I was wondering whether anyone has any experience of linking vouchers with fees? Ideally we would want physical vouchers issued as tickets attached to an order. Currently, one voucher = one programme/glass of champagne, but this is not mandatory, as long as the number of permitted items is listed on the 'ticket', this process would still be workable.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers K

Did I reply to this? I intended to...
This summer we used fees to sell our festival guide online and it worked rather well, albeit the fulfilment was a bit clunky. I created a custom ticket element which would only be displayed if the fee was present within the order and added this to the receipt. The shops then cut this section away from the receipt when a guide was issued.
Not the greatest solution but the best we could come up with!
Gary

Hi Keith,
Did you manage to get anywhere with this?
Many Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott and Gary,
Yes, I assumed that this would prove problematical - the tear-off section of a ticket was looked at as a possibility, but finally thrown out as unworkable, given the sheer number of different vouchers we issue to customers - and the increased probability of errors.
I think in the end we've gone with a slightly amended version of our current solution (which, again, uses vouchers set-up as performances).
Thanks for suggestions - though.
