Hello:
Our organization uses 2X to connect to our Live and Test Servers through 2 terminal servers located at a datacenter on another domain (we manage it).
The problem I am having is connecting to our SSRS reports through Tessitura, and even via the terminal servers (RDP). When on the terminal servers I can connect using IE9 with the IP address (NTLM), but not with the server name (FQDN). I am prompted to login three times to view the reports, but nothing appears after the third time of logging in using the FQDN method. In addition, if I am on the test or live server, everything works as it should, but not on the other servers that are in the same domain and in the same rack.
Has anyone had this issue, and if so how did you solve it?
Additional information: two 2003 terminal servers, one 2003 live server and one 2008 test server. The test and live server names and IP addresses are listed in the trusted sites for both terminal servers.
Thanks in advance,
James
Hi James
If you look recently I have been having the same problem with SQL Server 2008 SSRS. On 2005 you could set the IIS box to accept anonymous logins for the website and allow anyone access to the reporting server. Looking at 2008 you will need to either setup trust between the two domains to allow access or look at some kind of custom or basic authentication. The previous thread has some useful tips but I still haven’t managed to get this working as I want.
Our new website has just gone live (www.wmc.org.uk) so that is kind of taken up all of my time at the moment!
Thanks
Nick
