Hi,
Wondering if anyone has ever modified the existing Copy A Facility functionality, or created custom scripts, to be able to 'export' a Facility from one Tessitura system and then 'import' into another?
Scenario: Organisation A is now performing at Organisation B's venue. Both are Tessitura licensees. Org A would like to replicate Org B's Facility setup in their Tessitura database for consistency, making it easier to manage allocations, Ticket History imports etc.
Org A can of course build Org B's Facility from scratch, just hoping we might be able to save some time with a more automated process.
Thanks
Kim
Hi Kim,
I know this is a very old post and it doesnt seem like there was any responce.
We now have the need to replicate the build of a large venue in the states. They are also a Tessitura org.
Did you get any responce or have you done anything to solve the issue. You suggestion of modifying the copy facility seems feasable.
Trying to decide whether to spend the time moifying scripts and creating staging tables or just getting on with the mannual job.

Hi Richard,
No, I didn't get any responses, and didn't get the opportunity to develop a custom solution. At that point in time we had only one Facility that we needed to create, so I decided the manual option was quicker. Since then we've built manually another Facility of a Tessitura organisation.
In both cases we obtained specific Seat and Section information from the other Tessitura organisation so we could manually replicate their Facility.
I dont believe there is one, since I had to manually build 2 other venues in our system.(secretly going to build them all just in case)
