RE: Query Element Parameterdropdown

Sandra
Thanks for the response. From all appearances, this is what we have done. Our IT person Yvonne Chavez has spent a lot of time watching the videos etc and can't figure out the problem. We have opened a ticket with the Network including the screen shots I have attached below.
Thanks

Hi Tina

Have you added a parameter in the Where field in TR_QUERY_ELEMENT?

Something like this … campaign_no IN (<<p2>>)

<<p2>> refers to the parameter in TR_QUERY_ELEMENT_PARAMETER and the 2 would be the id for the Campaign parameter in this table.

In TR_QUERY_ELEMENT_PARAMETER  you also need to fill in the reference table details and what is to be shown in the dropdown. For the Campaign example, RefTable would be vs_campaign (always use secure views where you can), RefId is Id (this is what is put in place of <<p2>> when the Output Set is run) and RefDescription is description (this is what is seen in the drop down when setting up the Output Set).

If you want more info check out the various training aids and the Output Set Builder Cookbook if haven’t already.

Cheers

Subject: [Tessitura Technical Forum] Query Element Parameter dropdown

We are trying to begin using the query element parameter capability and we are not seeing the drop down when we choose the element in Output Set Builder. What are we missing? We have reviewed the documentation but...

Any other insights would be appreciated.

Thanks
