QAS vs NCOA

We are starting to do some initial research on Experian QAS as an alternative to doing regular NCOA updates.  Is anyone using this product or something similar?  If so, what are you finding to be the benefits and/or problems?

Thanks,

Boann

NCOA finds changed addresses - people who moved and asked the post office
to forward mail. QAS is address verification, it makes sure the address
you are working on is a valid deliverable address. The output of both
products is a standardized address with zip+4 etc. QAS has options to
allow you to use post office standards and abbreviations or spell
everything out while most NCOA vendor don't do this.

We use both tools as they are two different functions. Ticketing staff
love QAS as it is fast and will not let you enter a bad address, when we do
an NCOA run we find mountains of duplicate accounts when the data gets
updated. Does our mail get delivered faster, do we get fewer returns,
increased sales with better deliverability? Can't really say we see it but
if you asks the QAS sales people they can prove it for you....
