New TCast! Tessitura and SSRS Setup

In case some of you may have missed this on our landing page:

We're pleased to announce a new T-Cast covering the setup and integration of SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services and Tessitura. Our fearless presenter Roger Boltz helps you navigate the turns and twists of setting up the Tessitura SSRS integration components (Tessitura SSRS Proxy, and the Tessitura SQL Services assemblies) along with proper configuration of a project and the Reporting Services Report Template (available for download with the T-Cast) in the Reports menu. SSRS 2008 is one key component to preparing for Tessitura Version 11, and Roger walks you through every step.  Link below!

  • Hello, Beth!  Glad to see someone is looking for this TCast.  We are actively creating a brand new series of TCasts for SSRS and V11 as I write!  We've removed the old TCast as it is mostly obsolete information pertaining to v10.  V11 brings a brand new SSRS/Tessitura infrastructure and there are a few new best practices and techniques for custom report creation.  Old reports continue to work as expected, but these new TCasts are intended to show the new WebReports application and focus on the new features while creating reports.   There are also a number of older techniques (like defining User Group or Request Id in Report Setup) that are no longer necessary.

Look for this in the coming weeks along with some revamped custom report documentation.

  • Hi Ryan,

Was there a TCast or other documentation released to cover setting up SSRS with version 11?  I've had a search around on TessNet and am struggling to find anything.

Thanks very much for your help
