Hello, all.  I need to pop in here for a quick update on this TCast.  If anyone has downloaded the SSRSReportTemplate and is running SQL Server 2008 R1 (not R2), you will have issues adding the template to a report server project in Visual Studio (BIDS). 

The template has been updated today with a version compatible with SQL Server 2008 R1, which can be upgraded to R2.  I recommend re-downloading it here:

This is because the original template was provided in an SSRS 2008 R2 format.  Reports saved in SQL Server 2008 R2 use a different schema than R1.  More about this here if you are lucky enough to have to work in both R1 and R2 SQL versions concurrently:

Hi Ryan! Is the "Tessitura and SSRS Setup" T-Cast no longer available? I can find the second one in the series (Bulding a Tessitura-integrated SSRS Report) but can't seem to find the first one and the link above isn't working out for me. I need to learn how to build new reports and would like to start at the beginning so I don't miss anything important. :)

Hello, Beth!  Glad to see someone is looking for this TCast.  We are actively creating a brand new series of TCasts for SSRS and V11 as I write!  We've removed the old TCast as it is mostly obsolete information pertaining to v10.  V11 brings a brand new SSRS/Tessitura infrastructure and there are a few new best practices and techniques for custom report creation.  Old reports continue to work as expected, but these new TCasts are intended to show the new WebReports application and focus on the new features while creating reports.   There are also a number of older techniques (like defining User Group or Request Id in Report Setup) that are no longer necessary.

Look for this in the coming weeks along with some revamped custom report documentation.

Ryan, we upgraded TEST to version 11 and we are having issues with SSRS reports access - getting an error ... Where can I find some helpful information?

Was there a TCast or other documentation released to cover setting up SSRS with version 11?  I've had a search around on TessNet and am struggling to find anything.
