Transcend migration and penny transactions

We are running Transcend on our test environment in emulation mode, and having issues trying to test small transactions (0.01 or 0.02) to test card declined.

Tessitura shows the correct amount, but they authorize instead of being declined.

Looking at the Transcend client, the 0.02 transactions shows up as 0.20.  Is this a known bug?  Any work-arounds?

This is known bug. It also happens with .08 cents. When I last talked to Transcend they said it was a bug in Tessi and that the network knows about it.

  • I don’t believe this is a bug.  It is intentional functionality for Transcend to enable testing of error messages in emulation mode.  Check pages 98 through 102 of the Transcend user’s guide for a listing of all the error messages you can trigger with different AVS, CV2, and amount entries…
