Allowing Tessitura to run more than once on a workstation

Hello

I am going to be starting testing for SQL 2008 shortly, but it would be most ideal to have multiple instances of Tessitura running to allow me to switch between them, does anyone know how you can allow this to happen?

Many Thanks

  • Hi Mark,

You need to create a new ini file for the second instance of Tessitura, with a different name. In the file add Hostname=second and add the word second (or whatever you like) in tx_machine_location as the machine name.

Create another shortcut for Tessitura on your desktop, right click and select properties, change the name of the target ini file to the new ini file.

Should work, if not let me know.
