Updates to UK Maestro Card processing

Hi Guys,

Just a request for feedback, really.

We've received an update from TNS (Transaction Network Services), alerting us to certain changes to the way in which Maestro Cards (both UK and International) are processed and also to the phasing out (by the end of February) of the Solo Card.

I was wondering whether anyone else was working on this and whether they had any advice, problems to discuss etc. etc.

  • Hi Keith,

    I am making the Solo card type inactive, but currently not changing anything with Maestro.  I have asked for the box office to advise me if / when they receive a Maestro card and are unable to process, at which point I will revisit.  I think most UK banks have phased out their Maestro cards in exchange for Visa Debit, so hopefully it won't be too much of an issue.
