I'm getting "cannot find a price type to create new sli" when I open about a quarter of my rollover orders that should on open add a missing subpkg to the superpkg in the order. The dates for the pricetype(s) in question are valid for the orders' dates; the pricetype(s) are valid for the pkgs and perfs in question. If I click through the error, I can add the whole superpkg to the order and use the pricetype in the same zone it couldn't without otherwise editing the order in any way.
What besides date conflict or lack of the pt on the superpkg or contained perfs could cause that error?
Hi Amanda,
I had something similar happen to me (the cause of which still is a mystery), and I was told to check and make sure that both the source MOS, and the target MOS have a default price type assigned within TX_MOS_PRICETYPE, and that I should ensure that the person doing the rollover had access to these price types.
I'm still not certain what was causing the issue I was having, but maybe this can help you.
Cheers!
Hey Amanda & Ryan,
Did you ever work out what the cause of the error message was? We are getting the same error "cannot find a price type to create new sli" For rollover orders in our Super Package, for the sli that we have left unseated in the rollover.
Has anyone else seen this error message before?

I got this message when I had forgotten one of the price types in the rollover mapping table. Not sure if you use mapping, but if so that may be where the issue is.
