We are using Flickr. We bought an annual subscription for a nominal price.

  • Picasa’s also pretty good. Either one. Flickr tends to be more “social” – sharing, commenting, tagging, whatnot. Picasa is good for storage and sharing with select people. Both are good for web embedding and slideshows.

We use Flickr and it works great for us. And $25/year for unlimited storage isn't bad at all! Flickr also has a great API if you want to tie your Flickr photos into your website's content management system.

  • Thanks for your replies.  We ended up signing up for service 'egnyte' as we are not so  much interested in sharing as in off site storing GB of pictures.
