I am moving our TranScend (App and Client only) to W2K8, which of course requires moving the Tessitura CC App as well. I installed the Tessitura CC App on the new server per the documentation, but when I try to launch it, I get an error stating it cannot launch because the "PBVM105.dll" file is missing.
I put the PBVM file in the root of C:, per the instructions. Is there some other location this file should go in Win 2K8, as opposed to Win 2K3?
Thanks for your help!
Britt
The path statement should have c:\pbvm in it.

Thanks Gloria! I’m not sure I understand what you mean. I don’t see anything in the .ini file with that path, even on my current server…

In the properties of the computer (right click My Computer and select Properties), select the Advance tab. Click on Environmental Variables. At the bottom find the Path statement. Put a ; between entries, add c:\pbvm.

Also - I've seen on my W2K8 environments that the normal setup (at least what has always been normal since I've been here) of putting Tessitura .ini files in the system32 folder doesn't play very nicely due to permissions. So, I create a Tessitura INI folder on the C:\ and set the appropriate permissions there. So - all that to say - W2K8 can be a little more finicky about permissions so double check that and try different configurations. Instead of putting directly on C:\ create a folder and put it in the folder (make sure you adjust the PATH variable per Gloria's instructions).
Good luck!
Thanks Gloria! That worked great! J
