Season setup by batch

Hello,

Does anyone out there have a custom way to setup a season by batch?  We have numerous performances, price types, modes of sale, etc. that are the same for mulitple performances and setting each up 1 by 1 can be tedious and error prone.  I'm just wondering if anyone has a custom script that would import multiple performances and populate the ancillary tables.  Then the Ticket Office could go into Tessitura and change the description and dates that are specific to that performance.

    Hi Stuart
We have a script that we use to create a whole year's worth of guided tour 'performances' - there are several 'performances' set up every day of the year to hold our guided tours.
The script relies on someone creating a template performance, and then it duplicates that for a range of dates. It's fairly specialised for those unusual perfs, and it doesn't do everything (not holds, for example), but it does set up the framework, and then you can use Season Mgr etc to apply changes across the different ranges.
It's probably more of a starting point for you, rather than a solution, but we're happy to share if you're interested.
