Sort order of source code display in ticket order

Can the sort order be changed?  It appears to sort in source_no descending-is that correct?

If sort order cannot be changed, has anyone found a way around it?

Thanks for your feedback.

  • I'm not sure if this answers your question or not, but you can click on any of the column headers in the source code pop-up box and re-sort them.  You can also control+click on multiple headers to sort by more than one column.

  • Hi there,

You are correct about the default sort order, however, you can hotlist certain sources that you'd like to appear at the top of your list.

Also, you can click on any of the column headers to change the sort order.  For this reason we've standardized a naming convention of sources.  Every generic souce has a prefix of either Ad, Brochure, Rev/Ed (review or editorial) or Web, followd by the specific source detail.  This has really helped our reps find the appropriate souce.
