So, for all you Infomaker veterans, a softball for a Friday afternoon:
When looking at the Library Painter and selecting a PBL, the list of objects in that PBL shows up in the right-hand pane. Is there a way to rename those objects when copying already-existing objects from other libraries (TessituraStandardReports100.pbl, e.g.) so that their name isn't being duplicated and the new, to-be-customized object can be added into the Reports structure?
Alternately, is there a way to specify from the Tessitura Report Setup utility a specific path for the Window field in the report setup? (Yes, the relevant PBL with customizations is in the relevant row in T_DEFAULTS).
Alternately alternately, is there a way to otherwise specify which version of a PBL's object I want to use?
Thanks,
-jason
I’ll swing:
1. You would think there’s a rename datawindow/object feature in the Library Painter. Nope. Open, save as a new datawindow, delete the old one.
2. Specify a specific report path? Nope. The first datawindow matching the defined name will be used based on the order in T_DEFAULTS.
3. Specify a specific version? No.
Hope that softball stayed in the park.

Ryan, if I feel I've been judicious about upholding naming conventions, is there harm in listing my dev PBL first in T_DEFAULTS?
