We use TNEW v7 and on V15 of Tess.
For our Subscription Renewals for the Fy24-25, we want to investigate having the ability to opt-in to being Automatically Renewed for FY25-26. We are on TMS so patrons will have to check the Save Credit Card info on payment page. BUT how can I do a Custom_Form_Data to collect a CSI "check mark" that they opted into the program?
Per Documentation, the intended use field in system tables can only be on the Checkout (which we don't want to for everyone, just renewals), Contribution Type (it's not a contrib type) or Gift Certificate (not a GC). Looking at using Keywords, it appears the KW can only be places at the performance level. Not package.
Any thoughts on a simple check box on the renewal path?

Hello Jessica! This is Margaret with Tessitura Network Support. I can see from our records that you also created a Support ticket for this matter and I've copied the response to that ticket below:
Custom forms are not available on renewals because TNEW is loading an order that already exists in the database. However, there is the "Seating Requests" area on the renewal page that will save the info to a CSI and will used the contact method, category, activity and origin values entered in LTR_TN_EXPRESS_WEB_DEFAULTS system table.
Seating Requests
Renewals are processed by TN Express Web (TNEW) with no changes; upgrade line items cannot be added. Change requests can be processed with a notes field into which customers type the details of their request. If a patron enters text into this notes field, the contents of the field will be saved in a Customer Service Issue (CSI). The CSI will use the contact method, category, activity, and origin values entered in the LTR_TN_EXPRESS_WEB_DEFAULTS table.
Display of the notes field is controlled by the Seating Request Notes Enabled - Renewals property in the Seating Request Notes component. Content for the Section Subhead and Section Text - Renewals for the seating request section can also be edited in the same component.
Warning: Be sure to test that these CSI values are configured correctly, or you may lose customer data.
This might be an option to collect additional information about auto-renewing.
If you have any additional follow-up, questions, or concerns though, please let us know any time.
