Anyone using an SMS integration with Prospect2? Twilio? Sakari? We've texting a few times for cancellations using a very manual process. But now I'm looking at more automated (or less manual?) options for integrating SMS into our marketing and notifications. For example, pre-show text warning about construction projects outside the theater .. or texting upon scanned entry to remind members that they get a discount at concessions.
Anyone have experience doing this? What integrations have been tried? What worked or didn't work? Any insights appreciated.
I have experience reviewing, about a year ago. At that time, and probably still now, Pro2 SMS is a connector between Tessitura and Twilio. To have a look at Pro2's suggestion, I created a free Twilio account, downloaded their rudimentary developer package, and sent some test sms on a test number. It worked as expected, and the software developers at Pro2 are more expert than me for writing the integration for things. like unsubscribe. Unless you have a terrific developer on staff, I suggest using an integration for your SMS. If you're using Pro2 for emails, then seems the most likely choice. If you're using WordFly, their SMS isn't available in US, so might need to take another route, possibly one without a full integration with Tessitura.
