Order Import Utility

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with running the custom order import utility. The report is returning an error stating that the price type is not valid for the mode of sale. In light of that, I have triple checked the setup of the price types but can't find the issue. The price types were crated under the ticketing set up menu, they are attached to the correct mode of sale, they are attached to the correct user group, and the price types have been added to each performance. I even made sure the short text is what's listed in my import file, since that's what the utility is searching for. I have included a screen shot of my results from the utility being ran in review mode. The error is now stating, price type is not valid for performance or is not valid date range.

  • A new issue that has come up, happens to be with section match up. For example, In the import file there is a patron that is seated for C-ORCH row S with seat 124-125 . This would match up to B-Ctr Orch Portal C on the seat map, and in the section match up system table. The issue I’m having is there are patrons that are seated in for C-ORCH row S with seat 101 in the file, but they should be assigned to B-Ctr Orch Portal B. The import file utility will seat the order based on what comes first in the section match up table. So in my example it would seat the order with seat 1010 but not the order with seats 124-125 because portal B appears in the matchup table first.

    Section match up

    Seat 101 section s (B-Ctr Orch portal B)

    Seat 124 section s (B-Ctr Orch portal C)

Results of those orders being imported together.

I’m assuming the solution would be to change the C-ORCH in my import file to be unique based on each portal in the match up table?
