We are getting ready for our thanksgiving membership sale and we are going to send different campaigns via email and direct mail. My issue is, I already embedded one of our promocodes to link #2 and was wondering if I can embed the other different promocodes to link #1 or link #2? Link #1 is without any promocode. I'm really new at doing this and I don't want to mess it up so close to our sale date.

Yes, you definitely can still embed different promo codes. If I'm understanding right, it sounds like you may have two (or more) promo codes you will embed for different links/purposes, in which case I believe you'll want to also use the "premove" parameter in your URLs, which first removes any active promo codes before applying the new one.
So, your URLs would look like this:
https://my.pacificsciencecenter.org/donate/i/family-tms23?premove=Y&promo=CODE1
https://my.pacificsciencecenter.org/donate/i/family-tms23?premove=Y&promo=CODE2

Steve, I need to add 7 promocodes to the same URL, so every time I add each of them, I need to use the premove? Just to double check, by doing what you said, all my promocodes will still be working even after I use the premove, correct? Thank you for your assistance!
No, only one promo code/source number can be in affect on an order at one time
Sounds like you will need to create 7 different links (urls) with a different promo code on each one. Basically, each of the 7 email/mail groups would have a unique promo code. Just make sure your links don't end in "PromoApplied=true." It is a relatively common issue caused by copying the url after you paste the link and hit enter.
Also, the premove just removes any existing promo codes from the order. If you combine it with "?promo=" your promo code, it will remove and existing promos and apply the promo in the url.
Neil, the sale campaign is going to target 7 groups of people and each group will receive slightly different messaging via Prospect2. We are not going to send any promocode to them, the promocode will be in the link constituents are going to click to buy the membership and in that way we can track what group had the best conversion rate. In TNEW, I already embedded one promocode to link #1 and after I pressed enter, it became link #2 which ends in PromoApplied=true. Is this not correct then? Thank you for your help.
Here is a sample link that sends them to a calendar, removes any existing promo code, and then applies a promo code of SCHOOL.https://my.mnzoo.org/events?view=calendar&kid=198&premove=Y&promo=SCHOOLWhen you click on it, you will see this in the url. I was just saying it is important to NOT use the url ending in "promoApplied=true." This is a relatively common mistake.

Also, make sure your 7 promo codes are setup in TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO or they will not work.If you want the promo code to be searchable within the application, you add a matching row in TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO for each one except you select Impresario in the Parent Key column instead of Tessitura Web.
One more thing, do you force them to login before they add items to the cart or after? If it is before, there are additional steps required for the link to work properly.
They can add the items to cart but when they click check out, they will need to login if they have an account with us. If they don't, they will need to create one.
Great, sounds like you got this then. Just make sure you test all 7 links separately to make sure they all work.
