Which user permissions for a dynamic list

I've been trying some different things with dynamic lists lately.  I've discovered through testing that a dynamic list which is used as a criteria in another dynamic list gets re-generated when its parent list is run.  Win!  

Now I have a different situation regarding the control group permissions used when regenerating a dynamic list.

What I have is a dynamic list created by a user who is a member of a specific control group but if a second user runs a report using that list, will it re-generate using the creator's control group permissions or with the permissions attached to the user running the report?  

Based on a few things I've seen before, I expect the answer to be that the list will stick with the permissions of the person running the report and not the list's creator, but I wondered if anyone else had a more definite answer.

    The list is always generated in the context of the current user.  The control group assigned to the list only affects the visibility of the list in the application and not the generated list of constituents therein.

    I don't think it's a matter of respecting the control group of the person running the report or generating the list. I think it's whatever control group the list itself has.
