I'm working on moving a program that involves instrument rental into Tessitura and, for the most part, everything fits very cleanly into standard Resource Scheduling/Booking functionality. Where we are getting hung up is the length of time for which an Item or Resource can be booked. The Date and Start/End Time fields are configured to cover just one 24 hour period. We would love to be able to book a resource for weeks or months at a time to reflect how long a student will have an instrument out on loan. Does anyone have a good work around for this that doesn't involve separate daily bookings for each day a resource is "checked out?" I suppose in a way we are trying to shoehorn some inventory management into this module.

For us, we need to "book" galleries being closed for install/de-install, which could take a month.
What we found works is to make the booking a repeating event. So I'll say "Repeat weekly every" (in the box next to it type the number 1) then under days I'll just select all (to cover all the days of the week), and then set the repeat end date to the day before the exhibit opens.
