Hello,
One thing we are experiencing issues with is consistently needing to change locations of a performance (various internal bookings etc). Once a perf is built though, you can't change the facility once a price layer is set and/or tickets have been sold! When we need to change a facility, we try to make it clear on our website that the location is Location B not Location A, however the e-tickets/confirmation email that get delivered when you sign up still have Location A listed, which leads to confusion. Does anyone have an effective workaround for adjusting facilities that has worked for them? We try our best but can't guarantee every constituent reads the 'reminder on location change' email we send them ;)!

Why are you constantly needing to change locations? I mean, obviously that's less than ideal under normal circumstances, but I wonder if there is something in the situation that might trigger an idea of how to work around it.
The obvious reason you can't just change a facility once tickets are sold is that those tickets are to a specific seat that is attached to the facility, and even if returned that connection needs to be maintained. From time to time we do have venue changes, but this just means we have to create a new performance in the new venue and then transfer the seats (manually, as the venues are not comparable in size or seat arrangement). Customers are then sent new tickets along with their venue change notification.
As Kathleen Smith mentioned, if this is really just a daily part of life you could consider adding a "venue" name to a different ticket display element so that you can change it there and have different things appear on the tickets, and you can also (if you use TNEW) configure performance product display and cart text to not use the venue and instead enter the venue manually.
