Ungerboeck now Momentus Tessitura Integration

Is anyone working with/implementing Momentus (Ungerboeck previously) and using Ungerboeck's previous Tessitura integration or scheduled to use the new Tessitura integration?  We're having difficulty figuring out what the status is of this project.

  • If you mean their VenueOps software (I think they have two main software packages), we looked at their integration, but it was FAR too basic to be of any use to us.  We looked at turning on API access to try and do something ourselves but the cost was too prohibitive for the likely gain any such integration was going to result in for our staff.  Basically, we have just resigned ourselves to manually transfer between the two for the time being.  If you come up with/find some good solution, I would be happy to hear about it.

  • I think?  There have been a lot of name changes since we began the process.  Basically there was a promised integration (purchased by Ungerboeck?) that would allow you to export your events into Tessitura once you had finalized your season calendar that we were excited about.

  • I believe that we are talking about the same thing.  I think it DOES exist.  But it is (or at least was) crazy basic and was basically useless to use, so we did not pursue it.  Best of luck, I suppose.

  • Hi Gawain -

John is totally correct that there is a current integration to the Venue Ops Momentus software. And yes, it is still fairly 'crazy basic' as an MVP of the most requested initial feature which was creating/linking a shell of a performance, and then being able to transfer financial information back to VenueOps for linked performances. We've lots of ideas on how to flesh out features, but at this point, we haven't done the Field of Dreams 'if you build it they will come' and are watching adoption of, and use of, the integration as it is so we can have a pool of members who would benefit from further development of the integration. It's the chicken/egg balance of software development.

    Best,
